The 4th International Conference on Bioprocess and Sustainability (ICBS2026)

The 4th International Conference on Bioprocess and Sustainability (ICBS2026) will be held in City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong SAR, China during June 22-23, 2026. A four-day field survey will be scheduled if applicable. Please contact ICBS2026@outlook.com if you have any inquiry or question.

Notification of abstract acceptance: April 15, 2026 (Wed)

Payment Instructions for ICBS2026

Please read the following payment instructions carefully and follow the steps to complete your payment.

Step 1: ISBS Membership Fee (Optional but Recommended)

(1) The ISBS membership fee is collected separately by the International Society of Bioprocesses and Sustainability (ISBS). Participants who wish to register as ISBS members should complete the membership payment through the official ISBS system: https://jpmeet.whzszy.com.cn/vip/index.html

(2) Payment methods: PayPal and credit card only.

(3) Participants with valid ISBS membership are eligible for the discounted ICBS2026 participation fee.

(4) Please save a screenshot of your payment record or your ISBS member profile (showing your Member ID and expiry date), as proof of eligibility for the discounted rate.

Step 2: ICBS2026 Participation Fee (CityU Pay)

(1) The conference participation fee should be paid through the CityU Pay platform: https://epay.cityu.edu.hk/icbs2026. Participants are required to select the appropriate fee category and payment amount according to their status (member or non-member, regular or student).

(2) Payment methods: Credit Card, Apple Pay, Alipay, WeChat Pay, etc.

(3) Upon successful payment, you will receive a confirmation email with an official payment receipt.

Step 3: Payment Confirmation

Please email the following documents to the Conference Secretariat at ICBS2026@outlook.com to complete your registration.

(1) The CityU Payment Receipt (Required for all).

(2) Proof of valid ISBS membership (Required only if you selected the Member discounted rate). Acceptable proof includes a screenshot of this year’s membership payment or your ISBS member dashboard.

Your registration will be confirmed after the Conference Secretariat has received and verified the relevant payment record.

Call for Papers: VSI in Waste Management
A Virtual Special Issue (VSI) entitled “Biowaste Management for Greenhouse Gas Mitigation (BWM-GHGM)” is now open for submissions.
All conference participants are encouraged to submit their valuable work to this VSI. The scope of the VSI includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
- Biological waste treatment
- Bioenergy and resource recovery
- Biomass reclamation and recycling
- Biomass-based agriculture and bioeconomy creation
- Greenhouse gases emission/mitigation and carbon/nitrogen neutrality
- Microalgal-bacterial consortium and its advancements
- Sustainable management and analysis
Submission Instructions:
Please submit your manuscript via the Editorial Manager system of Waste Management. During the submission process, kindly select the article type “VSI: BWM-GHGM” to ensure your paper is considered for this special issue.
Final Manuscript Submission Deadline: December 31, 2026

Poster Presentation

For poster presenters, the poster template is attached for your reference. Please refer to the attached program for your poster ID and prepare your poster accordingly. Please print and bring your poster (A0 size, 841 mm × 1189 mm) to the conference venue for display. Thank you for your cooperation.
