    The 1st International Conference on Bioprocess and Sustainability (ICBS) will address the recent advancements in bioprocesses and their sustainability, providing the platform for communication and exchanging ideas among the researchers. The 1st ICBS will be held in a hybrid mode on March 25-26, 2023. The onsite event will be conducted in Tsukuba, Japan. The qualified articles will be published in a special issue on Bioresource Technology Reports (BITEB) after passing the general review process.

It is composed of the following three kinds of members:

(1) Regular members refer to the individuals and groups that support the purpose of the ISBS and promote the activities.
(2) Supporting members refer to the individuals and groups who join the ISBS to support its business development.
(3) Special members refer to the individuals who join to support the business of the ISBS from a non-profit public interest standpoint, in addition to local public organizations, student members, group members, public interest corporations, etc.
